This summer, I was able to work with the amazing DollFace Cosmetics. They have wonderful make-up palettes in a wide range that's easy on the pocket without compromising quality! Check out these two beautiful Youtube make-up gurus' creations on sweet and sultry looks.
Noe Mae Villa-gee goes sweet for Crystal Aberasturi.(who's currently going for Miss Mandaue. Here's how you can support her)
Maricarl Janah goes sultry for Steffi Aberasturi.Be sure to check out the Youtube channels these talented girls! You might get your own inspiration for make-up art and have fun experimenting with your look this summer. It's always fun to try something new!
In honesty, this was one of the most difficult shoots I've ever done. The weather just did NOT cooperate. It was always gloomy, murky and sudden drizzles of rain would come and go. We would shoot for a while then hide under trees, shoot again then use the reflector as shade. The natural lighting certainly did not make things go smoothly, but I tried to save the photos as much as I could. Certainly glad they turned out well enough.
Despite all the obstacles, it was a lot of fun working with Pearl (very cool owner of DFC), Janah, Noe and John. Lots of laughs especially with my comedian assistant/lighting master around. We had lunch at Sunburst together with the models' mom after hair and make-up. I have to say these girls are very lucky to be supported so much by their parents. Dad drove them to the assembly place and mom keeps watch of them all the way. Oh, and mom also plays talent agent.
Bringing it Sultry.
If you guys are interested, here's a BTS video. Props to Janah for the editing and compilation. More power to local Youtube make-up gurus!
Will catch up on some work to be done these coming months. I've yet to shoot my photostory :( Other than that, I'll be shooting for the summer campaign of a local shoe brand and an exhibit that will be on display at the SM Art Gallery. To top it off, I have to work on my travel photos from my recent trip to America, the Beautiful! It's only the start of the year but I've had a lot of surprises already. Thank you Lord. :) Hope everyone is having a great summer too.

Bringing it Sultry.Did I mention how young these girls are? Steffi is 16 and Crystal is 18 years old. Steffi was crowned Sinulog Festival Queen just this year. Promising futures these girls have.
Styling was all by Jackaye of WAGW. I'm loving their floral ensembles this season! I've made a recent purchase myself at the store too. Got myself a boho beach dress fit for summer. Teehee.
